With double-edged blade, chiselled iron guard decorated with raised panels of scrollwork heightened with punched silver scrolls and small recessed panels with gold-damascened foliage, flower-heads and running game, the whole bordered with bands of punched and roped ornament, later copper-bound spirally fluted grip bound with silver wire and with silver-wire Turk's heads, and later pommel decorated en suite with the guard

Faint Running Wolf mark within the fuller on the outer face, ricasso struck on each face with a series of small marks
