With browned sighted rifled barrels each signed 'Le Page Arq.er du Roi' and respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold, case-hardened patent breeches, case-hardened border and scroll engraved tangs and signed detented back-action locks, the former respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold, highly figured walnut half-stocks, chequered butts each with hardwood pommel carved in low relief with foliage, case-hardened border and scroll engraved mounts including spurred trigger-guards, set triggers, silver barrel-bolt escutcheons, and retaining nearly all their original finish throughout, in original brass-bound burr walnut veneered close-fitted case, lined with dark purple velvet and Morocco leather, with accessories including pistol-flask, loading-mallet, and combined turnscrew/nipple wrench, with original brown leather outer cover
