A transfer-printed commemorative mug
cylindrical, printed in mauve with a quater-length portrait titled KING WILLIAM the IVth. Crowned 8th Sept. 1831 between sprays of roses and thistles, the reverse with a crown in the inscription REFORM LONG LIVE THE KING withina sunburst, between ropetwist borders -- 3¾in. (9.4cm.) high, 19th century (some minor damages and wear)
