printed and painted to the interior with THE GREAT EASTERN STEAM-SHIP and to the exterior with verses and a depiction of the 'Sailor's Farewell' all within pink lustre borders, indistinct impressed maker's mark -- 9in. (23cm.) diam., 19th century (hairline cracks, wear and scratches, chips to footrim)
