Two parian busts
comprising: a Copeland parian bust of LESBIA made for the Crystal Palace Art Union after the original sculpture by W.C. Marshall R.A., the maiden modelled looking to her left at a dove which perches on her shoulder, set on a corinthian pillar plinth, enriched in gilt, impressed marks -- 16in. (45cm.) high (wear to gilt, cracks and chips to base); and a Coalport bust of Princess Alexandra, the Princess modelled looking straight ahead, her hair falling to her shoulders, set on a plinth above a socle, incised marks -- 13in. (33cm.) high (slight chips)
