A matched pair of pearlware figures of pugilists
modelled as Tom Cribb and Tom Molyneux, standing, fists raised, stripped to the waist, Cribb wearing purple breeches, Molyneax wearing yellow breeches, each by a post on oval mound bases, painted in colours -- 8¾in. (22.2cm.) and 9in. (22.98cm.) high, circa 1812-20 (each figure restored to both fore arm, some overpainting and minor chips)
