A FINE WHITE JADE SNUFF BOTTLE WITH ORIGINAL SCREW-THREAD STOPPER
PROBABLY IMPERIAL, 1750-1800
The bottle has flattened ovoid panels on either side, raised on a shallow concave foot. The matching stopper is carved with a stylised floral knop, with the integral jade shaft carved with a screw-thread which is repeated on the interior of the neck of the bottle. The stone is of an even, pale greenish-white tone.
