A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE 'DEER' PENDANT
LIAO-JIN DYNASTY (907-1234)
The pendant is carved in the form of a recumbent deer with its feet tucked underneath. It is pierced through its body for suspension. The mottled white stone is suffused with areas of russet.
