AN ARCHAISTIC CREAMY AND RUSSET JADE TWO-HANDLED CUP
MING DYNASTY OR EARLIER
The rounded body is finely incised with two friezes of sword-pommel scrolls, which are separated by two handles in the form of stylised C-scrolls incised with archaistic scroll patterns. The creamy stone is suffused with russet streaks and inclusions.
