A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE CARVING OF A HOUND
MING DYNASTY OR EARLIER
Modelled as a recumbent hound with its head turned back, its long tail curled and flicked to one side, and its long spine rendered with bosses. The mottled pale celadon stone has darker inclusions and concentrated areas of russet.
