A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE MONKEY AND A PEACH, BRUSH SET
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The stone is carved as a reclining monkey with a long tail coiled to one side, grasping a large peach in both hands. The pale celadon stone is of an even tone with concentrated areas of russet highlighting the peach and rear of the monkey.
