A PALE CELADON JADE 'POMEGRANATE' GROUP
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The jade is naturalistically carved in the round as a pomegranate revealing its seeds which have burst through its skin, with a bat perched on top. The stone is of an even tone with some minor russet inclusions.
