A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE 'MAGPIE AND PRUNUS' SNUFF BOTTLE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
The pebble bottle is carved in relief utilising the dark russet area of the stone to depict magpies amongst prunus trees on both sides, reserved against the pale celadon areas of the stone.
2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high, stopper
