Stamped 'SABATINO ET FILS' on base, on an associated painted wood
64 ½ in. (164 cm.) high, overall. 36 in. (92 cm.) high, 24 ½ in. (62 cm.) wide, the brazier; 28 3/4 in. (73 cm.) high, 29 ¼ in. (74.2 cm.) wide, 23 ½ in. (59.5 cm.) deep (the painted base)

Lot Essay

The jardiniére is based on the Roman example from the Temple of Isis at Pompeii and now in the collection of the Museo Archeologico Nazionale, Naples.
