GENEVA, CIRCA 1840
Each with eight spiraling flutes, alternately of opaque pink enamel with flowers and of openwork with seed-pearl grape clusters and translucent green leaves, apparently unmarked, with a set of assembled porcelain liners with painted and gilt ornament, all in a silk velvet fitted case applied on the cover with a silver-gilt monogram and crown

The monogram and crown are those of a kingdom within the Ottoman Empire. The monogram reads Husayn al-Malik, or King Husayn.
