Decorated in Chinoiserie style, the baluster-form body and shaped circular foot with scrolls and foliage, the body chased with scenes of Chinese figures in landscapes, enclosed by elaborate rocaille, scrolls, foliage and fish scale, some chasing possibly circa 1820, with shell and scroll spout and wood scroll handle, the hinged cover with conforming decoration, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked under base and cover
