The first with silver-gilt finial cast as St. Peter with dove nimbus, the reverse of bowl prick-engraved SW 1686, the front of bowl later engraved with a crest, the handle marked twice on reverse with maker's mark, lacking town mark; the second with silver-gilt finial cast as St. Matthew with spoke nimbus, the reverse of bowl prick-engraved 1650, also engraved with 19th-century monogram, marked inside bowl and on reverse
