Quinta do Vesuvio 2000
In original wooden case
Tasting note: Showing well during a comparative tasting of vintage port 2000 in 2010. Luscious pure fruit nose with fine acacia honey aroma. More spicy then the Croft in the same flight, round pure elderberry fruit, deep well structured. Intense wine with power to last. At first touch alcoholic but evolving into a sweet seductive finish. Bravo, a very good wine. At the Graham lodge served after the fine Graham 2000. Floral tones, acacia honey and soft sweet pure nose. In the mouth the fine acacia honey tone comes back. Remarkable spiced and fine sweet jammy fruits. All there and showing well. Very good wine with bags of life. Last tasted February 2014. E.V.
