Tasting note: Fine intense nose of floral tones, sweet ripe cherries and dark chocolate. Subtle with touch of spicy aromas in the back. Fine medium sweet taste with very good length. In 2011 all Symington Ports are marked by a superb balance, full ripe fruit and fine acidity. In expressive elegant style. Sweeter than expected from a Dow's. Lovely pure. The lovely ripe fruit, packed in structure and well integrated alcohol makes you think that this wine will age wonderful. Now already a great experience. A great Dow. Last tasted February 2014. E.V.
