A well detailed bone and horn 72-gun First Rate built by A. Brown with bound masts, spars with stun's'l booms, standing and running rigging, carved warrior figurehead, hair rails with carved rope and scroll decoration, anchors, catheads, belaying rails and pins, gratings, shot racks and shot, balustrading, companionways, deck light, helm, three ship's boats with bottom boards, thwarts and oars, upper deck guns in carriages and other details. The planked and pinned hull has carved stern and quarter galleries, mounted on carved wood supports on bone decorated wood base on four bone bun feet -- 26½ x 27in. (67.3 x 68.5cm.). Glazed case
