The late 19th Century 10-gun cutter 'Ferrit', static display model built by D.E.Matthews, with mast, yards and boom, standing and running rigging, figurehead, hair rails, ancors, catheads, hatches, belaying rails and pins, ship's boat with bottom boards, thwarts and oars, gratings, guns in carriages with shot, stove pipe, bilge pump, tillar, rudder and other details, the hull copper plated to the waterline is finished in black and white with natural wood decks, mounted on two turned columns and inlayed chequer base. Glazed case. Measurements overall -- 13 1/3 x 14½in (34.2 x 36.8cm)
