PREDOMINANTLY PARIS, 1789 (WITH LATER DUTCH CONTROL MARKS), THE REMAINDER MARK OF GABRIEL GERBU, PARIS, 1ST STANDARD, 1798/1809
Comprising 24 each of table forks, table spoons, dessert forks and dessert spoons (the dessert items gilded), each engraved with a coat of arms featuring a winged helm with crossed keys above and below, all contained in a modern two-layer canteen lined in red baize, with bead border and brass escutcheon; the table spoons and table forks are all 1789 as are 13 dessert spoons and 12 dessert forks, 11 dessert spoons and 12 dessert forks are 1798/1809
