AN ASSEMBLED FRENCH ORMOLU AND SÈVRES STYLE PORCELAIN THREE-PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE
Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of three-light candelabra: the clock with lyre-form clock case headed with phoenix busts suspending floral garlands and centred by a circular enamel dial signed 'Le Faucheur / A Paris' and with datework, with twin-barrel movement, Brocot escapement and countwheel strike, the movement stamped 'MEDAILLE DE BRONZE / S Marti et Cie', on spreading oval base with toupie feet, the candelabra each flanked by foliate handles and issuing three flower-headed candlearms, on a spreading beaded socle and square base, the bases to candelabra stamped 'SORMANI / PARIS', drilled for electricity
The clock: 22 ¾ in. (58 cm.) high ; 10¼ in. (26 cm.) wide; 5 ½ in. (14 cm.) deep
The candelabra: 26 in. (66 cm.) high
