FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE of this well known, long surviving but rare and much sought after successor to Boxall’s Guide, nominally by William Lambert. The folding frontispiece shows a game in progress in the Paddock, a field below Lewes castle in Sussex with a key to positions in the field similar to Boxall’s.
