SEVENTH EDITION, the first to use match reports in addition to the scores themselves. The title-page is enhanced by the decorative border previously restricted to the wrappers. Queen Victoria continues to reign but her name disappears from the wording, and the annual is given the simple title of ‘John Wisden’s Cricketers’ Almanack’ for the first time.
