First part with woodcut of falcon on title, title to second part within woodcut border containing ten blocks, woodcut illustrations at beginning of each chapter, elaborate woodcut initials and head- and tail-pieces. (Final leaf with some marginal repairs just touching a few letters, some soiling, light staining and browning.) Contemporary calf with blind-stamp decoration and gilt spine (rebacked and recornered preserving old spine, some rubbing). Provenance: G. Thomas (inscription) -- Freeman-Thomas (bookplate).
