A VERY RARE WORK. Second edition, printed just a year after the first. 'The woodcuts are remarkably strong and imaginative in composition’ (Mortimer). While the blocks were cut by several hands, the designs for the full set may be attributed to Gabriel Salmon who also illustrated Gringore’s Heures de nostre dame. Only a defective copy of the first edition is recorded at auction in ABPC/AE online.
