Jean Royère used a 'Croisillon' chair in the office of his rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré apartment. The model was exhibited at the 1947 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in Paris.

Christie’s would like to thank Jacques Lacoste for his assistance with the cataloguing of this lot.
