The present lot shows the dog of Sigmar Polke, who is portrayed around a dustbin, in which Polke has thrown away one of his paintings. This triptych was meant as a gift from one dog to another.

A gift from the artist to Petalo, the dog of Joke and Martin Visser circa, 1982-1983.
