2 parts in one volume, octavo (155 x 105 mm). 194 pages. 16 lithographs, including the frontispiece, all coloured with pencil in full or in part. (Paper yellowed, occasional light spotting, remnants of front wrapper near the hinge of half title.) Contemporary half calf over textured paper covered boards, spine with raised bands, one compartment titled directly in gilt, the others centred with a fleuron in gilt, top edge red, printed endpapers (extremities rubbed). Provenance: Gérard Nordmann (label, his sale, Christie’s Paris, 14-15 December 2006, lot 226).
