A collection of original 4-colour transparencies for Private Magazine number 14. Stockholm: Private Magazine, 1970.
Approximately 84 sets of 4-colour transparencies, lined-up and mounted on card with adhesive tape and stapled onto white card, each set numbered in pencil on the verso (some transparencies detached, some tears and some wear). Together with printer’s proofs for a promotional poster.
ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHIC TRANSPARENCIES FOR AN EARLY ISSUE OF PRIVATE, which when founded in 1965 was among the earliest all-colour periodicals of the genre. The transparencies relate to two stories; one of these, with laudable style credentials, set in a Citroën DS. Private nurtured a reputation for high production values and, being based in Stockholm, thrived in the days before the United States Supreme Court liberalized pornography.
