This lot comprises bottles of various forms carved from: honey-coloured quartz and chalcedony; beige and white banded "drop" motif agate; moss agate; black and beige agate; brown jade; smoky quartz; glass imitating realgar; blue and red glass; and black lacquer.
The largest 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) high, most with stoppers
Provenance
The honey-coloured quartz bottle: with Hugh Moss, London, acquired in 1978.
One of the moss agate bottles, one of the smoky quartz bottles, the two glass bottles imitating realgar: with Gisèle Croës, Belgium, acquired in 1973.
