AN OPALESCENT GLASS EGG
QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER INCISED MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The egg has a smooth polished surface with a layer of translucent glass over a milky white interior with a swirled pattern of concentric circles which are faintly visible. There is a flat oval section to the body where the mark is incised, which forms the base on which it sits.
