A MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID AND HARDSTONE EMBELLISHED GILT LACQUER CABINET
18TH CENTURY
The two front doors are decorated in inlay with a lively scene of boys at play beneath a pine tree. The side and lower panels are decorated with a bird in flight above flowers growing from rocks. The black lacquer ground is highlighted with scattered flower sprays and cloud scrolls. The doors are mounted with metal hinges.
