A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE BOWLS
19TH CENTURY
Each bowl is delicately decorated to the exterior with a butterfly beside bamboo and fruiting leafy branches which spill over into the interior, which is decorated with a further butterfly and fruits. The base of each bowl has an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark.
4 ½ in. (11.4 cm.) diam.
Provenance
Private English Collection acquired between 1950 and 1990.
