A PALE CELADON JADE 'LOTUS VASE' GROUP
18TH CENTURY
The group is finely carved in the form of a flattened globular vase with a cover in the form of a lotus pod, and a smaller tapered rectangular box and cover placed upon a lotus leaf. There is a lingzhi branch curled around one side of the larger vase connecting it to the lotus leaf. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with some attractive cloudy inclusions.
