QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The vessel is decorated to the exterior on each side with stylised taotie masks and confronting dragons and is supported on four feet with mythical beast terminals. The cover is decorated with intricately worked pierced lotus and confronting phoenix panels and is surmounted by a Buddhist lion with a brocade ball.
