A FAMILLE ROSE VASE
REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949), DATED GENGWU YEAR CORRESPONDING TO 1930
The vase is decorated in a painterly style with an elderly gentleman, the poet Tao Yuanming, dressed in rags, holding an upturned straw hat filled with chrysanthemums in his hands. Inscribed, dated and signed Wang Qi and one seal. A further seal to the base reading taopin.
