A LARGE SILK PINK-GROUND EMBROIDERED 'HUNDRED BIRDS' HANGING

It is embroidered with the auspicious 'Hundred Birds' design including an eagle, peacock, mandarin rock, crane and quail amongst rocks, reeds, peonies, prunus and bamboo, all within a pale blue border worked in couched gilt with peonies on leafy scrolls.
