A PAIR OF LARGE GILT-DECORATED POWDER BLUE JARS AND COVERS
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
Each vase is painted in gilt to the exterior with multiple cartouches containing various scenes including figures in landscapes, floral sprays and flower baskets, all between a band of ruyi and lotus scrolls. The covers are similarly decorated with four cartouches enclosing floral motifs.
