A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE AXE-FORM PENDANT
The pendant is carved on one side in high relief with a writhing dragon chasing a flaming pearl surrounded by scrolling clouds and a small chilong clambering along the side. The reverse bears a four-character inscription in seal script. The top of the axe is carved with a crouching horned mythical beast. The stone is of a pale even tone with some minor russet inclusions.
