A CELADON JADE 'QIN' BOX AND COVER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The box is carved in the shape of a qin with the strings partially visible on the upper surface beneath a cloth incised with roundels of flowers and bats on a key fret ground, and secured with a ribbon. The stone is of an even celadon tone.
