A BRONZE THREE-SECTIONED CENSER AND COVER
19TH-20TH CENTURY
The censer, of conjoined cylindrical form, is raised on six bracket feet and consists of three sections. The openwork cover is decorated with two spiders sitting in their webs. The lower section is fitted with a detachable openwork double bat and the interior is further fitted with two separate shovels and a lid. There is a "jia cang bao zhen" mark within a rectangle to the base, which may be translated as "hidden treasure at home".
