A WHITE JADE CARVING OF A LADY
20TH CENTURY
The lady is carved lying down with one arm supporting her head, holding a double gourd at her shoulder, with a flowing scarf draped around her arms. Her finely incised hair is tied in a knot and decorated with a bird-form ornament. The stone is of a pale tone with some minor inclusions.
