QIANLONG UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The centre of the dish is decorated with a crane standing on one foot on a rock amongst foaming waves, beneath a tree bearing five peaches next to a rocky mountain face. The reverse is enamelled with a pair of mandarin ducks in a river landscape amongst lotus and reeds, and a further bird perched on a rock.
7¾ in. (19.5 cm.) diam.
