A PALE CELADON JADE FIGURE OF A BUDDHIST LION
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The reclining beast is carved with its head turned over its back; it holds a lotus branch in its mouth and it has a bifurcated tail. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with some pale russet inclusions.
