A JADEITE CENSER AND COVER
19TH CENTURY
The censer is of quatrefoil lobed form supported by three cabriole legs. The sides have large mythical-beast handles with loose rings, and the similarly shaped cover is surmounted by a recumbent qilin and its young. The colour of the stone is of a fairly even apple-green tone with some lighter and russet inclusions.
