Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvery opaline-white dial, Breguet numerals in yellow gold in 2003 and its subsequent sale on 17 March 2004. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe fitted presentation box, outer packaging, leather pouch and product literature.

Consigned by the descendants of the original owner, the present "Gondolo" wristwatch has never been offered in public before.

Reference 5109, the large Gondolo model, was introduced at the Basel Fair in 2003 and in production until 2008. Its design was inspired by the Art Deco wristwatches representative of the 1920s.
