With a swan neck pediment centred by a foliate and shell cartouche above a foliate frieze, the later rectangular plate within a foliate- carved surround with beaded and egg-and-dart borders, with shaped and scrolled foliate corners, the sides hung with acorn and leaf swags, the scrolled apron similarly moulded with shells and foliage, the side swags possibly added
