in polychrome pine, the double sided panel depicting a solar motif with face, heightened in gilt within leafy spandrels, bearing the initials and date below TM 1751, the paint distressed, gilding refreshed, the panel peppered on both sides with shot, within an ebonised frame, English, mid 18th century -- 32½in. x 26¾in. (82.5 x 68cm) overall
